I have long been a fan of Carla Oates, aka the beauty chef, in particular the glow powder which I have purchased many times.
Recently when I restocked my glow powder, I decided to try out the new-ish Collagen Inner Beauty Boost.
What is it exactly? The Beauty Chef states this “bio-fermented probiotic concentrate designed to increase the skin’s production of collagen and promote a radiant, naturally plumped complexion from the inside out.
Specifically formulated to address skin firmness, fine lines, free-radical damage and aid skin maintenance, COLLAGEN contains a blend of Certified Organic maqui berry, acai, papaya, blueberry, goji-berry and pomegranate powders with grape-seed extract, zinc and vitamin C. Boosting natural collagen formation from the inside, the potent formula is also rich in antioxidants to help combat cellular damage and support healthy skin, hair and nail growth”
The undiluted formula tastes almost like ribena, although rest assured that this inner beauty boost contains no sugar.
It is difficult to assess the effects that the inner beauty boost has on the skin, in regards to repairing collagen, increasing firmness and fine lines, as I’m just at the age now where I’m starting to really focus on avoiding these signs, however I’ll be honest, I am a little vain, and will likely keep drinking this in an attempt to further delay signs of ageing, it is a bonus that this also tastes delicious.
I have found that this inner beauty boost, also mixes well with coconut water or sparkling water for a delicious afternoon treat.
I have been drinking this most days for just over 3 weeks, I was pretty happy with my skin prior to starting this supplement, so I can’t really identify any major improvements, however when I first started the glow powder (which I’m still taking also) I did notice an improvement in generally feeling better and healthier.
The RRP of the Collagen Inner Beauty Boost is $39.95 AUD for 500ml, which equates to $1.21 per serve (33 servings per bottle)
