Shop Local: Rubi Fresh

Hi Guys, Today I’m going to share my experience with RubiFresh’s 2 step cleansing system*.
RubiFresh, is an all Natural Australian Made company,
This is quite clever, as we all know, you should really double cleanse if you are wearing any make-up or SPF, to ensure all traces are removed, RubiFresh have designed 2 cleansers to complement each other and get the job done!
I have been using these for a few weeks now.

Both cleansers are in pump packaging, which make dispensing super easy, and both retail for $29 each.
Cleansing Oil 1 is as the name suggests an Oil Cleanser, and Step 1.
The very simple ingredients list includes:  Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, olea europa (olive) fruit oil, prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, tocopherol (natural vitamin E), citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, leptospermum petersonii (certified organic), lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil.

I find 2 pumps of this slightly citrusy scented oil, the perfect amount to massage on my face, the packaging is designed well and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Oil cleansers can take a bit of getting used too, I like to massage it well into dry skin to dissolve all dirt and make-up, before coming in with a warm face washer/flannel, to remove the oil.
My skin feels soft and well cleansed after use, there can be the slightest bit of residue from the oil, (which you would notice more, if you tried this without a face washer)

Then for Cleansing Gel 2, this is designed to be used after Cleansing Oil 1 to complete your evening double cleanse.
The only time, I would ever only do a single evening cleanse is when I don’t have make-up or SPF on, which basically never happens!
This light citrusy gel is refreshing, it completes the cleansing process without leaving your skin feeling dry or tight. I also like to use this in the mornings for a freshen up, the citrusy scent is the perfect wake me up.

Both products complement each other nicely, whilst still being suitable to use individually.

What are some of your favourite cleansers?
