Bits I’ve Finished: February 2017

Hello Autumn! While we might have ‘officially’ changed seasons, its been a scorcher here in Adelaide, mid to high 30s (celsius) so you would think its still the middle of Summer!

Anyway here are the bits and pieces I have finished off during the last few weeks.

Banila Co Clean it Zero Purity Cleansing Balm: I didn’t mind this, cleansing balm, quite similar in texture to Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, a scent free no fuss work horse, I wouldn’t repurchase, due to the fact i’d prefer a cleaner ingredients list, this has mineral oil in it, which I didn’t realised when I purchased it. (The ingredients where listed in Asian)

Uni Organics Wonder Balm Lip Conditioner*: I quite liked this minty lip balm, unfortunately I lost half of it in the heat as it melted (and poured out when I opened the lid) otherwise I quite enjoyed this lip balm.

Dr Levy Intense Stem Cell Serum: I used this 4ml sample for almost a week, (most mornings, and alternate nights) I cant say I noticed any discernible difference in my skin, although granted I don’t think one week is enough to see improvement anyway.

Weleda Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash*: I really enjoyed this body wash, from the light fruity scent, to the nourishing creaminess, would consider a purchase.

Byron Bay Skincare Body Creme in Gardenia Flower and Rose: OBSESSED! I have a few other body creams and lotions to use, but I loved the scent of this, it was light and absorbed well, really lovely.

Davroe Volume Senses Shampoo and Conditioner*: I have actually repurchased the full size of these, my hair has been so limp and oily, this is the first S&C I have used in a long time, which has left me feeling remotely happy with the condition of my hair.

Gorgeous Cosmetics Base Perfect Liquid Foundation*: This  was a medium-full coverage foundation, which still felt really light on the skin, I hadn’t worn it over Summer as I’ve been using the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, So I picked it back up on a cooler day to find only one use left (oops, don’t you hate that!) If I was looking for a fuller foundation in the future would consider.

YSL Volupte Tint in Oil, this was quite nice, a light watermelon-y flavour, with a lovely sheen of non-sticky colour, which I did find somewhat hydrating. Would possibly repurchase.

Designer Brands Extend a Lash Tubing Mascara: I’m a bit of a tubing mascara fan, I get watery eyes, so I find these the least smudging of all the mascaras, this was as good as any other tubing mascara I have tried. Possible repurchase.

I’m pretty happy with the things I managed to use up this month, how did you go with finishing things?

*Product/s kindly provided for consideration, however these are my own and honest opinions.

Comment Below if you have an empties post and I will pop over and check it out!

Yes…I must admit i feel a little lost. I keep forgetting its not there and thinking I will pop into the forum and then I remember its not there 😦

  2. Oh bother….I typed out a post and I think its been tossed into the abyss.
What I said was that I really love Weleda Products but my favorite is the range in the orange ….Seabuckthron which smells divine.
Ive been powering ahead with my used products list and reached a grand total of 29 for Jan/Feb. This list includes a blush and a color tattoo. Very proud of myself. 🙂

  3. I finished 18 products during January & February, which is about average for me. I seem to finish about 8-10 per month, so at least I’m consistent! I’m happy to have finally finished up my bottle of Alpha-H’s Gentle Daily Exfoliant. Was driving me nuts having it hang around! I’ll NEVER finish makeup bits (aside from foundation every year or so…maybe mascara too), it’s always skincare for me.
