Hi Guys, Today I thought I’d share with you a few different ways I use rosehip oil.
While we are all slathering this golden hued oil, all over our faces to reveal healthy, glowing skin, did you know there are also plenty of other ways we can incorporate rejuvenating rosehip oil into our daily routines?
- You can add a drop or 2 to your foundation or base product for an extra dewy luminous effect. I don’t find that this effects the longevity of my foundation at all.
- Rosehip oil makes an excellent cuticle repair treatment, I use a drop or 2 per hand and massage into my cuticles to keep them looking healthy. I often do this in the evening while watching some TV.
- I usually smooth my hands through my hair after I have pressed a few drops on my face, this is also a great way to use up any excess product, I have been half asleep doing my evening skincare and dropped way more product than I meant to in the palm of my hand. Want not waste not!
- Rosehip Oil makes a great body treatment too, you can either try adding a few drops to dry patches of skin or adding a few drops into your body moisturiser to really super charge it.
- I have also found that Rosehip oil can be incredibly useful for cradle cap in babies, I usually massage a few drops into the scalp, you can do this both before and after the bath.
A few of the reasons I like the natural instinct rejuvenating rosehip oil is because it is certified organic, I believe this is an important quality to look for in oils as it ensures that there are no pesticides used which can then be found in traces within the oil.
There are also no filler ingredients, Petrochemicals and derivatives such as mineral oil or artificial colours and fragrances.
Given that there are no preservatives (which I do think is a great thing!) it is important that you use your oils within 6 months to maintain freshness.
I hope some of these ideas help you to enjoy your rosehip oil in more than one way.
I’d love to know of some of the other ways you incorporate rosehip oil too.
*Product kindly provided for consideration, these are my own and honest opinions.
Great post, some really interesting uses. I need to get my hands on some Rosehip Oil now, sounds very useful!
