Bits I’ve Finished: March 2017

Hi Guys! I can’t believe we are in April! It feels like just last week I was shocked to see Hot Cross Buns in the supermarket in December! Now Easter is almost here!

Here are the bits and pieces I managed to finish!

I’ll start with Skincare! I managed quite a few bits which surprised me!

Want Beet this honey Cleanser * you can find my review here, I actually miss not having this in my line up, will likely repurchase (I just want to finish one more Cleanser first)

Dr Alkaitis Organic Replenishing Serum, this is a summer product to me, aloe Vera based, it is lovely if you’ve spent a bit too much time in the sun.

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator, love this, I actually finished it in December, however I topped it up from my full size when we went on holidays. One of the few hydrating mists which actually hydrates, will always have this in my stash.

Emergin C protocell combat cream, I got 2 uses from this packet, it was quite rich, which would be nice coming into the cooler weather.

Paula’s Choice 10% niacinamide booster, this is very fluid and absorbed instantly, I’m not sure if I need it in my routine though.

Sunday Riley Start Over active eye gel cream, there are rumours that this is being discontinued? It was Hydrating, however I’ve got a few eye creams to use, will probably try something else.

Omorovicza ultramoor mud mask, I got 2 uses from this deluxe sample, I found it a little bit drying, which I know mud masks are often drying, however it felt more drying than other mud masks, wouldn’t purchase.

The Jojoba Company jojoba and rosehip oil * You can find my original review here, I prefer this over straight RHO, I have a few too many oils at the moment to consider repurchasing at the moment.

Avene Hydrance Optimale Riche * I really enjoyed this, it’s a great Hydrating Moisturiser, this would be another good one coming into winter. I like that this is a decent moisturiser without any actives in it, so It is good if you do layer over a retinol or acid product too.

Jacqueline Evans rooibos facial toner I really enjoyed this, it has a blend of rosewater, aloe and rooibos tea, really lovely and nourishing.

Becca A backlight priming filter, I actually really liked this, it gave a nice soft glow to the skin, I might purchase.

Dior Nude Air Foundation, not quite finished however it’s about 18 months old, I really liked this, it was lightweight as you only need a few drops it lasts forever, I’m a bit obsessed with IT Cosmetics CC at the moment, so I’m not sure I’d repurchase.

Naked Makeup BB Skin * I really liked this cushion foundation it was Hydrating and dewy, I have too many base products at the moment to even consider a repurchase, however I will keep this at the back of my mind.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light loved this! It took me around 18 months to finish, I’m just debating a repurchase or trying something else.

Lush chocolate Easter Egg Soap * you can find my Lush Post here, I haven’t finished it, however it’s in my shower, I quite like this it smells delicious and feels quite nourishing, get in quick as it’s limited edition!

The Ouai treatment masque, I have another 2 sachets of this, although it is a rinse out treatment, I also left a tiny bit in my ends which really helped to hydrate the dry ends, quite enjoyed my first experience with the ouai.

How did you go with finishing products last month?

*product/s kindly provided for consideration however these are my own and honest opinions

  1. You did quite well there! I think I only finished about 8-10 products, as usual. I’ve used that Jojoba Company jojoba + rosehip oil before, can’t say I was fussed on it. I thought I’d finished up all the remaining jojoba oil I had from them until I found a little mini in my mum’s bathroom cabinet, so now I’m trying to finish that up.

  2. You managed to get through quite a few products!
I’m pretty amazed that you got through the entire Hourglass powder, I’ve never managed to finish an Hourglass product yet! I love them, but they get rotated too often! Xx
