Review: Oskyn Skincare

Hi Guys! Today I’m going to share with you my thoughts on two products from the Oskyn* Range, which include the facial serum and tinted moisturiser.

I have been using these products for around a month now.

Anti-Ageing Facial Serum*:  This lightweight serum, applies easily to the skin, absorbing quite quickly, the serum is rich in vitamin C, derived from Kakadu Plum, also containing peptides, and a heap of other fabulous ingredients which are known to be great for improving skin health and anti-ageing, you can read more about the ingredients here.

I find that the serum has a discreet scent from the Kakadu Plum, which doesn’t linger long once applied.

This serum is a great way to add some vitamin C into your routine, it is very gentle and I think that people whom may have experienced irritation to other forms of Vitamin C including, L-AA may quite like this one.

You can see below the serum is creamy in appearance, it is what I would describe of a typical serum consistency (i.e. it is not an oil that calls itself a serum)

I’ve quite enjoyed incorporating this into my skincare collection, and have found that my skin has appeared quite healthy

Full ingredients include:
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Glycerin*, Bentonite, Methylpropanediol, Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Extract*, Isoamyl Laurate, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Barklya syringifolia (Crown of Gold) Extract*, Jojoba Esters, Davidsonia jerseyana (Davidson Plum) Extract*, Brachychition aceriolius (Flame Tree) Extract*, Undaria pinnatifida (Seaweed) Extract*, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil*, Tasmannia Lanceolata (Pepper Berry) Extract*, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter*, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Santalum acuminatum (Quandong) Extract*, Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Seed Oil*, Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba Gum, Tocopherol Acetate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil*, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Caprylyl Glycol, Glycine Soya (Soybean) Oil, Phenylpropanol

Left: Serum Right: Tinted Facial Moisturiser

Tinted Facial Moisturiser*: The tinted facial moisturiser is available in Fair, Light, and Medium, The shade featured here is light.

The Tinted Moisturiser is SPF 15, I would say that this provided a little bit more coverage than other tinted moisturisers I have used in the past, whilst still being quite light, and feeling very natural on the skin. I found that I got a good 6 hours of coverage from the tinted moisturiser, which did last a little longer if I finished off with some powder too.

The tinted moisturiser has the same similar Kakadu Plum scent featured in the serum, which doesn’t linger long, and also contains beneficial ingredients including peptides and hyaluronic acid.

I’m pretty happy with my skin, however I did find that the tinted moisturiser did help even out the overall appearance of my skin, its definitely become my daily favourite.
