Another month gone, a busy one for us, moving to a new place and selling our house!
We’ve still got a few things to sort out, but mostly going well.
Anyway, here are the bits and pieces I’ve finished in July.
El8te Purifying Hand and Body Wash*: you can find my review here, overall I quite liked it, it usually wouldn’t take so long to finish, but I’ve had a few shower gels and soaps in the shower, oops.
Coola Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30+ I really quite like this, the consistency is almost whipped, definitely one of the lighter, sunscreens I’ve used, makeup applies really well over the top too.
NEOM Candle in Moroccan Blush Rose, Lime and Black Pepper, this is a half size, the scent sounds interesting, but really worked.
Ocinium Vitamin C Serum, I purchased this on promo back in December, and have used this every morning for 6 months, I really like it, I’ve got a mini Drunk Elephant C-Firma to replace it, but would definitely consider this one.
Wildcrafted Organics Wild Rose Botanical Mist*: you can find my reviews of Wildcrafted Organics here, Im a mist lover, and this was beautiful.
Farmacy Rise n Shine Day Cream, I know I said last month I’d get my Farmacy Review posted, hopefully before September rolls around, this wasn’t too bad, I did notice it felt slightly tacky on the skin, however once you apply SPF/Makeup it wasn’t noticeable.
Eye Of Horus Bio Lift Mascara: This is a pretty good mascara, the only thing is I get really water eyes, so this did smudge a little for me, I have this issue with any non-waterproof/tubing mascaras though.
Bella Terra Mineral Blush: This is obviously not finished, It isn’t my shade and has been in my drawer for almost 4 years I reckon, so its in the trash now.
Lacura Make-Up Remover Pads, these ALDI ones are bloody great, I hate shopping at ALDI, when you have children and you have to bag it all your self its too stressful, I will pop in and grab some more of these, they are fabulous, they are kind of “stitched” on the side so they all stay together, and I’ve never noticed any lint, they are like $1-2 so pretty cheap too.
Benefit Fake-Up: A great concealer for under the eyes, if like me your surviving on caffeine these days, it doesn’t crease too much either.
YSL Touche Eclat: This is also a god send for hiding sleepless nights, and appearing generally illuminated and bright, I’m going to try a different one now, maybe By Terry or the Mecca one, let me know if you have a good replacement option.
ELES Dual Action Concealer: Another fab option for anyone struggling with dark circles under the eyes, will consider a repurchase.
MAX Factor: Facefinity compact Foundation, This isn’t quite empty, however I haven’t used it in forever, so its time to go, it was ok, I used it more of a setting powder than an actual powdered foundation though, not likely to repurchase.
*Product/s kindly provided for consideration, these are my own and honest opinions.
Have you tried any of these products before? Let me know what you think!
Ive not used any of the above products. That candle does sound interesting and I cant imagine what it smelt like…such an odd mix of scents.
Ive actually been flying through the products at the moment. Ive completed a lot of skincare items including Essences, eye creams , day and night creams, hand and foot creams, body scrubs, and hand wash.
Also reached the end of a color tattoo and a lipstick….go me 🙂
Hope you are enjoying your new home. I detest moving and find it very stressful…I guess thats why I have been in this house for 24years. But the positive side of a move is that you get to clean everything out and start fresh.

Great work on the Empties Meedee!
The only good thing about moving is it did force our hand to pass on a few things we didn’t need any more.

I love the Lacura cotton rounds from Aldi! They’re the best of the bunch methinks. I’ve just finished up a packet myself, although I’m not sure if it was a shared effort between my Mum & I. I’m dead keen to try that Bio Lash Lift mascara from Eye of Horus.

I don’t go to Aldi often, so they probably think I’m crazy when I grab 1/2 dozen of the rounds!

I agree, the Lacura cotton pads are fantastic, I don’t bother with any other brands. The Ocinium vitamin C serum sounds great xx
