Brand Focus: Karinda Skincare

Hi Guys, today I’m going to share my experience with a natural Australian brand, Karinda Skincare*. I’ve been using these for several weeks, I must admit it made moving a bit easier having one consistent routine, I packed a toiletries bag which I lived out of for a week and packed this rest of my skincare up, anyway I digress, I was fortunate to be gifted this entire beautiful range, here are my thoughts.

Purifying Cleanser:  This cleanser has a light milky consistency, I found it removed make-up really well, this has also become my current morning cleansing staple, it is light, and leaves skin feeling cleansed and fresh.

Personally I associate the word purifying with ‘squeaky clean’ and ‘dry and tight’ I certainly didn’t notice any of those feelings with this beautiful cleanser, skin feels deep cleansed, while still remaining nourished. Definitely suitable to use both morning and night.

There is a very nice lovely scent to the cleanser, almost like freshly cut flowers. it is not overpowering, and makes cleansing an enjoyable experience.

Full Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice*, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glyceryl Stearate, Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) fruit extract*, Melaleuca alternifolia (Snowflower) leaf extract*, Tasmannia lanceolata (Mountain Pepper) leaf extract*, Eremophila longifolia (Emu Bush) leaf extract*, Citrus australasica (Finger Lime Caviar) fruit extract*, Sea Salt Extract, Propanediol, Phospholipids, Stearoyl Inulin, Citrus aurantium amara (Neroli) flower oil*, Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) oil*, Tocopherol Acetate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid *certified organic

Rejuvenating Serum: This lightweight fluid serum is packed with Vitamin C and Anti-Oxidants, which helps nourish the skin and promote collagen production. I didn’t notice much of a discernible scent with this serum.

I found my skin drank this up, being a thin consistency, the serum is absorbed quite easily, leaving skin soft to touch. Perfect for the facial oil and/or moisturiser to be applied over the top.

Full Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice*, Propanediol, Chlamydocapsa sp.-101 Extract, Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) fruit extract*, Davidsonia jerseyana (Davidson Plum) fruit extract*, Tasmannia lanceolata (Mountain Pepper) leaf extract*, Santalum acuminatum (Quandong) fruit extract*, Chondrus Crispus, Sodium Hyaluronate, Methylglucoside Phosphate, Copper Lysinate/Prolinate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid *certified organic

Sacred Youth Oil: Regular Readers will know I am an oil lover, and this one certainly does not disappoint, I find it feels light enough to use a few drops in the morning, and nourishing enough to use at night also.

The unique blend of oils help to reduce fine lines and increase the skins strength, you can also press an extra drop of oil on to any dry and dehydrated areas to help combat those issues.

I personally notice the scent of the jojoba oil peek through this formulation, it is quite light and a pleasure to use.

Here are the full ingredients: Camellia oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Rosa canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil*, Punica granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil*, Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Seed Oil*, Squalane, Hippophae rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil*, Carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil*, Fusanus spicatus (Australian Sandalwood) Kernel Oil*, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Pelargonium roseum (Rose Geranium) Leaf Oil*, Citrus aurantium (Neroli) Flower Oil, Santalum spicata (Australian Sandalwood) Wood Oil. *certified organic
Below you can see the consistencies of the products:

Left to Right: Cleanser > Serum > Oil > Moisturiser

Nourishing Moisturiser: The nourishing moisturiser is quite light yet it really nourishes, I’ve been using this over winter, previously I used to notice some dry and flaky skin, however I’m pleased to report that I haven’t noticed that this time. This is suitable for use both morning and night.

The moisturiser provides the perfect canvas and SPF and Make-Up apply well over the top.

Full Ingredients Include: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice*, Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) fruit extract*, Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate, Jojoba Esters, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax, Cetyl Alcohol, Brachychiton acerifolius (Illawarra Flame Tree) flower extract*, Tasmannia lanceolata (Mountain Pepper) leaf extract*, Barklya syringifolia (Crown of Gold) flower extract*, Banksia serrata (Banksia) Seed Oil*, Acetyl sh-Heptapeptide-1, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Squalane, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Rosa canina (Rosehip) fruit oil*, Tocopherol Acetate, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid *certified organic

Overall these products really complement each other, my skin really enjoyed using all 4 products together.
