Bits I’ve finished October 2017

Anyone else freaking out that we are in November already?

I just know that it will be 2018, before we know it!

Here are the bits I finished during October.

SKINCARE:

It’s Skin WH Effector Serum: I quite liked this serum, it was a typical serum consistency, and layered well with other products, I picked this up in Singapore Duty Free in January and it cost about $10, I would probably purchase this or another one again, if I came across it. I did notice some lightening of my pigmentation, however I can’t say it was solely due to this product.

DeMamiel Dewy Face Mist: I didn’t love this, the scent was a little bit off for me. I have been working on a brand focus, so hopefully I can get that posted before the end of the month!

MUSQ Antioxidant Toner: This was nice enough, it didn’t wow me enough to repurchase.

I did notice a bit of a citrusy scent peek through, I also think the 200ml size is too much for me, as I do usually have a few mists on the go, considering I liked my other options more, it made it a struggle to get through this,

Jordan Samuel Etoile: You can find my brand focus here This oil was nice enough, however I would not repurchase, as I do prefer other oils more, its hard to put my finger on exactly why it didn’t work for me, I think it was also being spoilt for choice and preferred other options I had available.

Jane Scrivner Nourishing Balm Cleanser* : You can find my brand focus here This is beautiful, I think I will repurchase when the weather starts to cool, this is so lovely and I miss having it already.

BotanicES eye creme*: This is quite a nice hydrating eye creme, I have quite liked this.

MAKEUP AND MISC:

Jack N’ Jill Kids Toothpaste: I talked about this brand here my kids love this and have already repurchased.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Cushion Foundation: I didn’t really love this, the whole cushion felt really cheap and plasticy, the cushion bit didn’t really sit in properly, and the sponge applicator disintegrated very quickly, if you want a cushion foundation I’d suggest looking for an Asian one (if you can get a good shade match)

Pure by PhytoCare Papaya Vapour Balm*: Having something like this is a staple when you have children, I have replaced this with the Simple as That version, which is also free of petroleum jelly.

Maybelline Big Shot Mascara: This was ok, I have a few other mascaras waiting to be used before I think about a repurchase though.

The Nakid Label Aphrodite Body Oil: I loved this, the spray nozzle is really fine, so it distributes the oil really well, the beautiful rose scent is just lovely, will repurchase once i’ve used up some of my other body oils.

SAMPLES:

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer: I have used this before, I got the sample to see if i still liked it and I do.

Verso Hand Serum: I got about 3 uses out of this, it was actually really lovely, like a light cream, which absorbed well leaving my hands feeling so soft and nourished, they say the back of the hands can reveal your true age, I say not with this serum.

Nu-Face Prep-N-GLow: This was a face wipe, not something I use regularly, so no real feelings towards this one.

Darphin Illuminating Oil Gel-Creme: This was quite a nice lightweight moisturiser, I liked it, but maybe not enough to go out and buy it.

Hourglass Illusion Skin Tintin Ivory: I actually really liked this, a good light to medium coverage, I will considering buying this later, once I work my way through some of my current bases……

There you have it, How did you go with using products up last month?
