Review: Mesoestetic AOX Ferulic

Several weeks ago I was offered the opportunity to trial a new serum from Mesoestetic, the AOX Ferulic Serum, the inci list looked quite good, including 15% Ascorbic Acid so I was pretty keen to try it out.

Brand: Mesoestetic, A medical-aesthetic company made in Spain, available from Advanced Cosmeceuticals (you can also find other authorised stockists on their website)

Product: AOX Ferulic Serum

Ingredient Highlights: 15% Ascorbic Acid, Protech-Cell Complex 1.5%, Ferulic Acid 0.5%

Full Ingredients: Aqua, PEG-8, Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Ascorbic Acid, Ethoxdiglycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ferulic Acid, Bis-Ethylhexyl Hydroxdimethoxy Benzylmalonate, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethyl MEA, Ethylhexylglycerin.

img_3770Usage: I have been using this every morning for 5 weeks, however you could use this morning or night to suit. I Would estimate that the serum would last about 5-6 months, of daily use.

My Thoughts: This is quite a fluid serum, I use about half a pipette on my face and neck each morning.

There is no real discernible scent to the serum, there is a slight yellow hue to the serum.

I did notice some brightening of my complexion during the first few weeks of use, I had been using a serum with Vitamin C already, so I was surprised to see a bit of an improvement.

I’m really liking incorporating this serum into my morning routine, this has been working quite well for me.

My morning routine is currently, Cleanse, Mist, AOX Ferulic Serum, Moisturiser and SPF

*Product kindly provided for consideration these are my own and honest opinions.

I’d love to know what you look for in your morning serum?
